Jacob and Lydia Dearrington. January 13, 2018 until death do us part.
"What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
It all started because of a concert at this little white church where Jacob and Lydia performed together for the first time.

Maid of Honor: Savannah Harris. Bride's Maids: Morgan Seip and Alyssa Wood. Flower Girl: Natalie Wood. Mother of the Bride: Rachelle Dickerson Harris.

Jacob and Lydia enrolled in the Chamber Music Class in January 2017 at the University of West Florida. Jacob, a trumpeter, was in need of an accompanist. One day he was walking down the hallway and spotted Lydia. He knew she was a pianist (and maybe he thought she was a little bit cute) so he asked her to play for him.

Best Man: London Dearrington. Groomsmen: Matthew Cassady, Dyllan Brown, and Steven Triplett. Ring "Bears": Oliver Bargett and Jubal Harris. Flower Girl Escort: Carson Bargett.

On April 1, 2017 they started "officially" dating. Of course their friends and family weren't surprised, they hadn't been fooling anyone! The two of them joked that it was the longest played April Fool's joke ever. How could they have possibly found someone like each other?

After dating four and a half months, Jacob and Lydia knew they loved each other.

In the beginning of August, Lydia took a road trip and while she was gone Jacob texted her constantly, saying he had a surprise for her. The day after she got back, on August 14, 2017, Jacob took Lydia out for a date. She just knew he was going to propose!

They went to Dharma Blue Sushi in down town Pensacola and Jacob told her an outrageous story about some of his travels when he worked as a musician on the Celebrity Cruise Line. Lydia was laughing so much she cried and her ideas of a proposal were completely gone from her mind.

Afterwards, they walked around Seville Square and passed the little church where they had first performed together. They walked to the center of the park gazebo that Jacob had performed at in Jazz Fest on the first day they told everyone they were dating.

Lydia turned away for a moment and when she turned back Jacob was on his knee with a ring. She was so surprised she could do nothing but laugh! Jacob laughed nervously and squinched his face, "Are you going to answer?" Lydia clutched her hand to her chest and nodded. "Yes!" was all she said because she couldn't stop laughing for joy.

Even though it was just a year from when they met to when they became husband and wife, Jacob and Lydia knew they would have a life-time of adventure and love together.

There is so much more left to do!

Cheers!
